Our Branch’s success as a voluntary representative body depends on strong vibrant representation to promote and serve the interests of our members.
Committees are the lifeblood of the Branch – getting together to discuss professional matters and specialist topics, networking, arranging education forums, organising social functions, working with other professional groups, influencing the culture of the Society, providing support for our profession, promoting women in the law and, importantly, feeding into the New Zealand Law Society law reform process.
The Wellington Branch aims to:
Promote, serve, and lead the legal profession in the Wellington region and build relationships of trust and confidence with its members and the community.
Our Committees are a vital part of achieving this aim.
