The PLS runs occasional webinars on topics of interest to property practitioners. These are usually co-hosted with our partners, Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand and Legal Executives New Zealand, or other government departments with whom we have stakeholder relationships.
Upcoming webinars:
Click here to register for a webinar hosted by PLS Chair, Mark Sherry and presenters Michala Beacham, Director NHI Act Implementation and Bernadette McDougall, Head of Claims from EQC Toka Tū Ake. They will provide an overview of the new Natural Hazards Insurance Act. The Act takes effect on 1 July. It will replace the Earthquake Commission Act and modernise the legislation, as well as introduce some changes that could be of interest to property lawyers who help homeowners navigate issues with insurance.
This page will be updated as we schedule and announce more upcoming events for 2024.
