Property Law is an ever-changing and exciting field of law. The Property Law Section supports property lawyers to meet the many challenges of the profession.
Full membership of the Law Society is available to those holding a current practising certificate and is one of the prerequisites to full membership of the Property Law Section. The membership year is from 1 July to 30 June.
One of the many benefits of Law Society membership is that it qualifies you for complimentary membership to one Section of your choice (subject to meeting Section eligibility criteria).
To join the Property Law Section as a full member, complete the registration form for Law Society membership and select the option to join the Property Law Section.
The 2025/26 membership subscription of $300 +GST will be included on your renewal invoice in May, and your membership will commence from 1 July.

Already a PLS member?
The Law Society membership subscription will be included on your practising certificate renewal and membership invoice.

If you are not a practising lawyer, you may be eligible for PLS associate membership. Associate membership of the Law Society is a prerequisite to associate membership of PLS. The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
