Turner Hopkins have announced four promotions.
Joy Yuan joined Turner Hopkins in June 2017 has been promoted to Associate.
Joy works predominantly with the Commercial and Property team and leads our Chinese legal team. She has extensive expertise in commercial and property law.
Her strong commercial and business sense ensures that the most professional and practical advice is provided to her clients. Joy enjoys presenting legal seminars and webinars to the local Chinese-speaking community.
Samuel Ames joined Turner Hopkins Private Client Team last year and has been promoted to Associate.
He has experience in a broad range of private client matters including advice on estate planning, trust structuring, relationship property, retirement villages and estate administration. He has particular interest in charitable organisations and incorporated societies. Samuel has presented for the Auckland District Law Society and is a member of the ADLS Trusts committee.
Earlier in the year both Catherine Pendleton and Tim McSweeney were promoted to Senior Associates.
Catherine is part of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team and has broad experience in civil, commercial and criminal litigation. Catherine has appeared in several Tribunals and Courts, including the High Court and court of Appeal.
Tim heads up our Immigration team and has a wealth of knowledge across both New Zealand and Australian regimes, having lived and worked in both countries.
