Hundreds of business and commercial lawyers from the Asia Pacific region will gather in Auckland in April 2017 to participate in the 27th annual meeting and conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
Registrations for the conference, from 6-9 April 2017 at SkyCity Auckland Convention Centre, are open with the "Super Earlybird Deadline" closing on 3 October 2016. The conference is open to IPBA members and also to non-members.
The IPBA is an international association of business and commercial lawyers living in or with a strong interest in, the Asia Pacific region. It has over 1,500 members in over 60 jurisdictions and the annual conference is held in a different country each year.
The Auckland 2017 conference has the theme "Connectivity and Convergence" and over 600 lawyers are expected to attend. The organisers place an emphasis on networking opportunities and there will be social events on each of the three nights, as well as plenary and concurrent sessions on a wide range of topics.
