Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) says it has gone out to market for its Advance Survey and Title Services (ASaTS) project.

It has posted an Expression of Interest document on the Government Electronic Tender Service. The document sets out expectations and processes for potential vendors.

LINZ says it describes how interested vendors can compete for the project, provides some background about the current processes for survey and title transactions, and highlights some innovations that LINZ is looking for.

The new system, which will update and expand the range of services offered by the Landonline system for property transactions, is expected to be in place by 2021.
