Ben Keith is joining Thorndon Chambers, Wellington in August 2017 at the conclusion of his appointment as the first Deputy Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security.

Ben was also previously Crown Counsel at the Crown Law Office responsible for administrative, constitutional, human rights and public international law.

He was a member of the New Zealand Law Society Human Rights and Privacy Committee from 2009 to 2013.
