Auckland's Shortland Chambers has congratulated one of its members, Clive Elliott QC, on his recent appointment as President-elect of the New Zealand Bar Association.

Clive is a member and former convenor of the New Zealand Law Society's Intellectual Property Law Committee.

Shortland Chambers says he will assume the role of New Zealand Bar Association President on 1 October 2016.
