Dunedin Lawyer, Jane Fletcher, Elected Director of NZ LAW Limited

NZ LAW Limited has announced that Dunedin lawyer, Jane Fletcher, was elected to its board at the group's recent AGM. This appointment took effect from 13 October 2023.

Jane Fletcher succeeds Taupō lawyer, Brent Winkelmann, who has retired from NZ LAW’s board after two terms. NZ LAW Chair, Dan Moore, says, “The board and I would like to acknowledge the contribution that Brent has made to the board as a director for six years. He has significantly enhanced the group’s library packages and was the director responsible for NZ LAW’s financial portfolio.”

New NZ LAW director, Jane Fletcher is a partner at law firm Downie Stewart. A property law specialist, Jane enjoys working on any matter related to land development and subdivision, residential and commercial conveyancing and estate planning. She is a member of the New Zealand Property Law Section Land Transactions Sub-committee and regularly presents to first home buyers and real estate agents on the purchasing process.

Dan Moore welcomes Jane to the NZ LAW Limited board. “We look forward to Jane’s contribution to the group. Her experience will enhance the skills already on the board and will be most useful to NZ LAW’s Property Special Interest Group.”
