Former lawyer Clayton Kimpton has been appointed New Zealand’s Commissioner-General to Expo 2020, which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr Kimpton was a partner at Kensington Swan and chairman of the firm for eight years.

He was appointed Regional Director India, Middle East & Africa with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise in 2013, and Consul-General to Dubai and Northern Emirates before his current role.
