Continuing under the banner of Gaze Burt, the firm now has close to 50 staff. Vaughn Summerton of Wardill Pasley will join the leadership team comprised of directors Michael Hockly, Les Allen, Michael Bright, Shelley Eden, Kimberly Knox, Rachael Jhinku, and practice manager Sarah Hughes.

Gaze Burt has a long-standing heritage of providing a values-based service to clients for almost 100 years. They will now be able to offer clients additional expertise and support with the retention of the Wardill Pasley team, who have been serving the Silverdale community for a number of years. The Silverdale office will continue to run, offering a fourth location to clients, in addition to Albany, Birkenhead, and Symonds St.

The core services of the merged firms are very similar, so Gaze Burt will continue with its particular strength in the areas of property, trusts, commercial, and private practice. The Silverdale client base will also have access to Gaze Burt’s specialist employment team.

This change represents the largest merger for the firm for at least 30 years.
