Gemma Scottorn

Gemma studied law at Canterbury University and was admitted to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in March 2023. Gemma’s interest in family law sparked out of her employment with Aviva Families as part of the on call Sexual Violence Support Team.

Gracie joined the litigation team as a Staff Solicitor from 21 April this year. She was admitted to the bar in December 2022 after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Law. Previously she worked for Fairway Resolution in their Family Services Team, and also served as a volunteer at Community Law Canterbury.
