GreenwoodRoche announces new promotions
GreenwoodRoche has announced a series of promotions within the firm.
Nick Dunn – Partner (Wellington)
Nick joined the partnership effective from 1 April 2023. He joined Greenwood Roche in 2006 and re-joined the firm in 2013, after a brief stint overseas in Seoul. He is a trouble-shooter and deal facilitator with a focus on public sector clients but has also developed a strong market presence in the renewable energy sector. His main focus in recent years has been large-scale housing development projects.
Rachel Murdoch – Principal (Christchurch)
Rachel is a resource management specialist based in our Christchurch hub. She joined Greenwood Roche as a law clerk in November 2014. Over the course of her career, Rachel has developed an expertise in fast-track processes, alternative consenting pathways and special legislation and advised on several significant city-shaping projects during the Christchurch rebuild.
Tom Price – Principal (Auckland)
Tom is a commercial property and development lawyer based in Auckland and joined Greenwood Roche in 2020 after a stint overseas. Prior to joining Greenwood Roche, Tom practiced in London and Dubai with two real estate focussed firms. His practice spans, the hotels sector, complex development work, institutional investment, and commercial leasing.

Three new Senior Associates in the Auckland office – Amelia Alden (Resource Management), Tanya Young (Construction) and Michael Bennett (Real Estate).
Associates
The promotions of Nikita Day (Wellington), Georgia Irwin (Auckland), Mariam Matti (aka Mariam Baho)(Auckland) and Zac Brodie (Wellington) to Associate have been made across the national team.
