Law firm Hesketh Henry has announced the appointment of Christina Bryant as its new managing partner with effect from 1 October 2020.
The firm says that Christina joined Hesketh Henry in 2003 and has been a partner for 14 years. A key member of the firm’s leadership team, they say she has helped drive the development of the firm’s sector-focused practice and has been instrumental in its recent growth. Christina says she is looking forward to building on the momentum the firm has generated in the last 5 years. Christina is joined on the board by Nick Gillies. Nick became a partner in 2015 after joining Hesketh Henry in 2013, and has led the development of the firm’s specialist construction practice.
The firm also announced that long-serving managing partner Erich Bachmann advised earlier in the year that he would be stepping down. He will continue as a senior partner of the firm and head the firm’s corporate and commercial law practice.
Hesketh Henry announced Jacintha Tan appointment as a new partner in the firm. Jacintha joined the firm’s commercial property team in July 2012 as a senior solicitor. She has an extensive range of experience in all areas of commercial and residential property law.
They have also advised that Stephanie Corban has been promoted to Special Counsel. Stephanie joined Hesketh Henry in 2008 as a Senior Solicitor in the disputes team. She has developed specialist expertise in insurance. Hesketh Henry acknowledges her key role in managing the firm’s largest client.
In addition, Hesketh Henry announced the promotion of Alice Eager from Solicitor to Associate in recognition of her hard-work in the disputes team. Alice started in June 2016 as a Graduate in the private wealth team. She moved to the disputes team in September 2018 and has become a well known as a proactive, skilful lawyer.
