Andrew Hudson has been appointed Chief Executive of the Takeovers Panel, effective from 26 October 2017.

Mr Hudson has been the Panel's General Counsel. Before joining the Panel in 2011 he was a corporate lawyer in private practice.

He takes over from Margaret Bearsley, who has taken up a new role after six years as Panel Chief Executive.
