Morgan Coakle promotes two associates

The partners of Morgan Coakle have announced the promotion of Lauren Aspin and Niccola Davies to Associate.

Lauren was admitted in 2014 and joined Morgan Coakle in 2019. Lauren specialises in family law, with a particular interest in complex relationship property and trust disputes, parenting matters and asset protection. Lauren also practices in the area of civil litigation and enjoys working in professional indemnity matters. Lauren represents clients before the Family Court and High Court and at mediation, and she is also trained in Collaborative Resolution. Lauren has presented on the topic of contracting out agreements both to the public on The Curve podcast, and to the family law profession at seminars. Lauren was recognised by Doyles Guide as a Family & Relationship Property Law Rising Star.  
 
Niccola joined Morgan Coakle in 2022, having practised exclusively in family law since her admission to the bar in 2017. Niccola finds particular appeal in new and developing areas of relationship property and trust law, and she has presented on the topic of the latest developments in the appellate courts. She is collaborative and values her connections with other practitioners in the family law sphere which enhance both her practice and knowledge base. Niccola is on a journey of learning te Reo Māori and spearheads a week of celebration, learning, and activities each year for te Wiki o te Reo Māori.
