Nathanael Starrenburg appointed to Takeovers Panel

Nathanael Starrenburg, a director of Auckland law firm Harmos Horton Lusk, has been appointed as a member of the Takeovers Panel for a five-year term, from 25 October 2016.

Mr Starrenburg was admitted in September 2003. Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Paul Goldsmith says he has a strong background in corporate and transactional law.

"His practical experience in securities law compliance and equity capital markets transactions will add considerable value to the Takeovers Panel," Mr Goldsmith says.

Mr Goldsmith has also thanked outgoing Panel member David Flacks, a director of Auckland law firm Flacks & Wong Ltd, for the contribution had has made to the performance of the Panel since his appointment in 2011.
