Penny Liu has joined Wellington law firm Johnston Lawrence as a senior associate. Penny was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in July 2008 and will work in the firm's business and property team. Her specialist areas include business sale and purchase, franchising, commercial leasing and wealth protection. Penny speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin fluently.

Kate Mitchell has joined the firm as an associate. Kate was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in February 2008. She is a member of the firm's business and property team. Kate advises on a range of property matters.

Clarie Puntenney has joined the firm as a legal executive.
