Wynn Williams has announced the promotion of seven lawyers.

Tom Corkill becomes a senior associate in the Auckland Corporate & Commercial team. Admitted in September 2011, Tom has significant banking and finance experience and is involved in mergers & acquisitions, debt funding transactions and corporate governance.

Jenny Turner becomes a senior associate in the Private Client Services team in Christchurch. Jenny was admitted in October 2011 and assists clients with a broad range of legal matters, including residential, commercial and rural property transactions.

Hayden Baird becomes a senior associate in the Christchurch Commercial Property & Projects team. Hayden was admitted in July 2006. He practises in all areas of property, private client and commercial law with a particular focus on commercial property.

Josh Taylor becomes a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Christchurch. Admitted in August 2014, Josh has a particular interest in construction law, but is experienced in a broad range of matters, including commercial, company disputes, insurance, insolvency, alcohol licensing and trust law.

Shane Campbell becomes a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Christchurch. Shane was admitted in August 2014 and specialises in all commercial litigation, with a particular interest in trusts and estates, contract and company matters, negligence, construction, debt collection, and declaratory proceedings.

Tiana Ritchie becomes an associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Christchurch. Tiana was admitted in October 2015. She primarily works on complex commercial disputes, but is also involved in criminal and family litigation work. In addition, she has experience in trust law and Māori land law.

Nic Lawrence becomes an associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Auckland. Nic was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in October 2015. He mainly works on complex commercial disputes, but is involved in a wide variety of other matters including insolvency, regulatory, insurance and relationship property.

The firm has also announced the appointment of Ellie Harrison as a senior associate in the national Dispute Resolution team in Auckland. Ellie was admitted in September 1994. She will predominantly focus on insurance law and has experience in statutory and regulatory compliance, public and general liability defence, and general civil and professional indemnity defence.
