Chapman Tripp appointed three new partners, effective 1 December 2017.

Hamish Bolland specialises in construction and major projects and is a member of the Auckland property team.

He was admitted in September 2006 and has worked on projects in New Zealand and overseas in a number of sectors, including advising on project finance transactions.

Hamish joined Chapman Tripp in 2014 after having worked for Allen & Overy in Dubai.

Lucy Cooper specialises in competition law and is a member of the competition and regulation team in Wellington.

She was admitted in July 2006 has experience advising domestic and international clients on merger clearances, cartel investigations and other competition law and consumer protection issues.

Lucy joined the firm in 2013 after working for Slaughter and May in London and King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney.

Tim Sherman specialises in corporate and commercial law and advises clients across a broad range of industries.

He is a member of the commercial and technical, media and communications team in Wellington.

Tim was admitted in February 2006 and plays a leading role in Zeren, the firm’s innovation business, and has led and delivered several legal automation projects for Chapman Tripp clients.
