TODD & WALKER Law announces three promotions

TODD & WALKER law has announced a series of promotions within the firm.

Laura McPhail and Sarah Ogilvie have been promoted to Senior Associates within the property and commercial team, and Megan Waller has been promoted to Senior Solicitor within the litigation team.

Laura McPhail, Senior Associate, is a commercial and property law specialist and is based in the Wanaka office. Laura has a particular expertise in advising on commercial contracts and transactions as well as large-scale property development projects and subdivisions. This includes advising on business and project structuring, sales and purchases, financing, shareholder/joint venture agreements, leases and general legislative compliance.

Sarah Ogilvie, Senior Associate, is a trust and estate planning specialist in the firm’s property and commercial team, she is based in the Queenstown office. Sarah has overseen the firm’s review of its trust clients following the recent Trusts Act 2019 changes. Sarah also specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, subdivisions and developments, refinancing, personal and business asset planning, leases and estates.

Megan Waller, Senior Solicitor, is a criminal and family specialist in the litigation team and based in the Queenstown office. Megan regularly appears in the Queenstown, Invercargill, and Alexandra District Courts often conducting Judge alone trials and opposed applications. Megan is a key part of the firm's family and relationship property team, which involves care of children matters following separation, domestic violence matters and relationship property disputes.
