Wellington commercial law firm Ford Sumner has announced two appointments which will take effect from 1 April 2017.

Sarah Churstain will be appointed to the partnership. She has been with the firm since graduating from Waikato University in 2008.

Her practice areas are commercial structures and relationships, property and work for the Accident Compensation Corporation in her role as an approved counsel.

Sarah's appointment is subject to her completion of New Zealand Law Society requirements.

Jono Cole will be appointed an Associate of the firm. He was admitted in June 2013 and joined the firm in January as a law clerk. He has been a staff lawyer with the firm since his admission.

His areas of practice are commercial structures and relationships and property.
