A new website has been launched to provide information on regulation of New Zealand's building industry.

The site, at www.building.govt.nz, includes information on requirements of the building code, acceptable solutions and verficiation methods, stages of the building process, tips on managing the building process, and on homeonwer's rights and obligations.

Building and Housing Minister Nick Smith says the new site is aimed at making better quality information more accessible to the public and industry on the regulatory requirements for residential and commercial buildings.
