Wellington tax lawyer Arti Chand and a group of other volunteers have organised a fundraising charity event in Wellington to help with relief for the people of Fiji after the devastating cyclone.

The group has secured world acclaimed chef and TV presenter Robert Oliver to be key speaker. Mr Oliver is an ambassador for Oxfam, Pacific Islands, and Cordon Bleu in Wellington. The Wellington City Council will be officially promoting the event.

The function will be held on Tuesday 15 March 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Wellington's Boat Shed. The proceeds will go to Oxfam's relief efforts in Fiji.

Accounting firm Staples Rodway will be auditors for the event, for which tickets are $75 per person.
