The Principal Youth Court Judge has released a revised Appointment and Review Procedure for Youth Advocates.

The revised procedures have been issued after consultation with the New Zealand Law Society and Youth Court Judges.

The main changes from the previous procedures are to the appointment and review panel, the procedure for review of the list of counsel available to accept appointment, and the complaints process.
