About the role:

This newly created role with a 12-month term is due to a change in their professional conduct and complaints process and rules. Our client believes the rule change may alter existing caseloads and how they manage caseloads in the future.

About you:

Due to the nature of this particular piece of work, you will ideally have a litigation background of at least 3-4 years. You will also have the confidence to work with external counsel and make sound decisions to progress case load in order to advocate when needed. There will also be the opportunity to guide and mentor across a team of four lawyers.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Qualified Lawyer with practising certificate.
  • 3+ years' experience within a litigation environment.
  • Exceptional team player with the ability to step up and mentor.
  • Exposure to working ideally within a regulatory space.
  • Genuine interest in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
