Steady growth and development have created an opportunity for an additional commercial Partner to join their team.  This is an exceptional opportunity to join a thriving firm where you will enjoy the best of professional and personal success.

You may already be a Partner or be an aspiring Partner having been a Senior Associate, Special Counsel or similar level for some time.  Your ability to handle complex transactions and advisory work combined with your track record of establishing and developing strong client relationships is essential in this role - as is your ability to contribute positively to team culture, enjoyment of mentoring junior staff and your business development acumen.

You will be welcomed as a valued member of this collaborative, cohesive and well managed practice.

What we’re looking for

• An experienced lawyer with at least 12 years' relevant New Zealand commercial law experience working in a well-regarded firm. You will hold a current NZ legal practicing certificate.
• A client-centric approach with an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent business development skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Sound legal knowledge, solutions focused, and have a collaborative interpersonal style.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build great teams and be a wonderful mentor to less experienced lawyers.
• A commercially minded and pragmatic ideas person with a strategic vision to share.
